Discover the ultimate summer snack that combines flavor and freshness. The yogurt bowl with watermelon, mint, and walnuts is an easy and healthy option for breakfast, a snack, or a light dessert.

The base of yogurt provides us with high-quality protein and probiotics that contribute to gut health. Watermelon offers hydration, natural sweetness, and powerful antioxidant action thanks to lycopene.

Lycopene belongs to the category of carotenoids and has been studied for its protective effect against prostate cancer.

There are several studies in the literature that have investigated the relationship between lycopene intake and the incidence of prostate cancer, with many of them reporting that individuals who consume larger amounts of lycopene have a lower risk of developing prostate cancer compared to those with lower intake.

Walnuts add a crunchy texture and are a source of beneficial omega-3 fatty acids, while fresh mint and citrus zest enhance the freshness and aroma.

With fewer than 280 calories per serving, this recipe is ideal for those looking for a nutritious snack, without unnecessary fats or sugar.

It is rich in valuable vitamins, such as riboflavin and vitamin B12 and trace elements such as copper and manganese.

Enjoy it cold, immediately after preparation, and give your body the energy and care it needs – with a taste that reminds you of summer in every spoonful.

* Values are based on the nutritional database of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).
** The Recommended Daily Intake percentage (%DV) shows you how much each nutrient from one serving of the food contributes to the total daily intake. The calculation is based on the Daily Values of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), based on 2000 kcal per day for an average healthy adult. Depending on the energy needs of the individual, the %SHI can be lower or higher. Generally speaking, if the %SOD for a particular nutrient is less than or equal to 5%, the food is considered to be low in that nutrient. Similarly, if the %RDI for a specific nutrient is greater than or equal to 20%, the food is considered to be high in content for that specific nutrient.
